2.1. Mang nghĩa"sự rủi ro, sự nguy hiểm"
=the possibility that something unpleasant or dangerous might happen

- Với nghĩa này, risk vừa là danh từ đếm được, vừa không đếm được
- risk of
- the risk of doing something
- risk to
- reduce/increase the risk of something
- an element of risk (=some risk)
- worth the risk

- Most major changes involve some risk.
- The risk of a major nuclear accident must be taken seriously.
- The risk of developing lung cancer from smoking is a serious one.
- There is no risk that the virus can be transferred from patient to doctor.

=someone or something that is likely to be a danger or problem in the future

- fire risk (=something that could cause a fire)
- pose a risk (to someone) (=be a risk)
