1. CÁCH DÙNG "RISE" TIẾNG ANH
IELTS TUTOR lưu ý:
- RISE là nội động từ
- Phân biệt về nội động từ, ngoại động từ cần lưu ý. Tức là rise sẽ không có tân ngữ theo sau, còn raise sẽ có
IELTS TUTOR xét ví dụ:
- The balloon rose gently (up) into the air.
- At 6 a.m. we watched the sun rise (= appear and move upwards in the sky).
- New buildings are rising (= being built) throughout the city.
- Murmurs of disapproval rose from (= came from) the crowd.
2. CÁCH DÙNG "RAISE" TIẾNG ANH
IELTS TUTOR lưu ý:
- Raise là ngoại động từ
- RAISE mang nghĩa nuôi dưỡng ai cái gì đó, phải có tân ngữ ở sau
- Raise your hand có nghĩa là dơ tay

- He raised the window and leaned out.
- Mary Quant was the first fashion designer to raise hemlines.
- The conductor raised his baton.
- She raised her gun, took aim and fired.

- The contraction of this muscle raises the lower arm.
- The lever is used to raise the barrier.
3. CÁCH DÙNG "ARISE" TIẾNG ANH

- ARISE cũng là 1 nội động từ, mang nghĩa nảy ra, nảy lên (happen)

- Could you work on Saturday, should the need arise (= if it were to be necessary)?
- Are there any matters arising from (= caused by) the last meeting?
