I. Cách dùng For one thing / For another thing
FOR ONE THING / FOR ANOTHER THING THƯỜNG ĐI LIỀN VỚI NHAU

II. Cách dùng For one thing / For another thing trong IELTS

1.1. TRONG IELTS WRITING TASK 2, FOR ONE THING / FOR ANOTHER THING THƯỜNG DÙNG CHO 2 Ý SONG SONG VỚI NHAU, CHỨ KHÔNG DÙNG ĐỂ GIẢI THÍCH CHO Ý LỚN KHÁC

- For one thing, For another thing sẽ dùng để diễn đạt 2 ý song song với nhau, chứ không dùng để diễn đạt 1 ý lớn sau đó 1 ý nhỏ (ý nhỏ giải thích cho ý lớn) nhé.

- Sau đó dùng For one thing ... For another thing cho các supporting ideas giải thích cho câu main idea. Đọc ví dụ ở trên nhé

- Ở dạng 2 questions, thường được dùng nhất là dạng Cause - Effect.
- For one thing / For another thing sẽ được dùng ngay sau câu main idea: There are many reasons why .....
2. IELTS SPEAKING

- Câu hỏi: Why is it important to be polite to people?
- Câu trả lời:
It’s essential to be well-behaved. For one thing, people usually treat us the way we treat them. In other words, we need to show our respect for other people in order to be respected. For another thing, I remember hearing somewhere that politeness is a sign of dignity and I couldn't agree more with this.
