I. Dùng "MAJOR" như adj
Mang nghĩa "chính yếu"
=more important, bigger, or more serious than others of the same type

II. Dùng "MAJOR" như verb
1. TO MAJOR IN STH
Mang nghĩa "học chuyên sâu về cái gì đó"
=to study something as your main subject at college or university

Mang nghĩa "tập trung vào"
=to have or do a lot of something; to focus on a particular thing / to pay particular attention to one subject or thing

- When someone asked me how my day went, I majored on the things that went wrong rather than the good things.
- The company is planning to major on offering the machines we need.
III. Dùng "MAJOR" như noun
Mang nghĩa "chuyên ngành"
=the most important subject that a college or university student is studying, or the student himself or herself
