1. Mang nghĩa "thừa, dư, không cần thiết, rườm rà (từ ngữ)"
=not needed / (especially of a word, phrase, etc.) unnecessary because it is more than is needed

2. Mang nghĩa "không cần đến, bị sa thải (về công nhân)
=if someone is redundant, they have been told they must leave their job because they are no longer needed
