1. Ratio chỉ mối quan hệ giữa 2 số
IELTS TUTOR lưu ý:
- RATIO ám chỉ mỗi quan hệ giữa 2 con số (ví dụ: 2 to 3 ~ 2/3)
- RATIO thường đi với giới từ TO --> nghĩa trong tiếng việt sẽ là TỶ LỆ
2. Dùng RATIO trong IELTS WRITING TASK 1
IELTS TUTOR xét ví dụ:
- If we compare the ratio of females to males studying IELTS, we see that there were approximately twice as many females as males on these courses.
- The ratio of medical staff to patients has fallen and this has affected the quality of care.
- The average ratio of men to women learning IELTs was approximately 2 to 1.
- We can see that the ratio of teachers to students fell by 10% during this period.
