2.1. Mang nghĩa"có vị gì đó, hửi thấy"
=to have a particular flavour.

- Với nghĩa này, taste là linking verb
- taste good/bad/salty/sweet/delicious/awful etc
- taste like
- taste of

- Food can taste sweet like sugar, salty like salt, sour like a lemon, or bitter like strong black coffee
- Although the meal was cold, it tasted delicious.
- The fish tasted just as good as it looked.
- This lemonade tastes more like water.

- They taste a bit like chicken.
- These biscuits don’t taste of ginger.
2.2. Mang nghĩa"ăn thử, nếm thử"
=to eat or drink something and to experience its flavour/to put a small amount of something in your mouth to see what type of flavour it has

=to experience something for a short time
