1. Mang nghĩa "khuyên nên làm gì"
=to advise someone that they should do something
IELTS TUTOR lưu ý:

- recommend doing something
- someone is recommended to do something
- recommend something
- recommend doing something
- recommend against something
- recommend against doing something
- recommend (that)…
- it is recommended that…
- recommend somebody to do something
- recommend how, what, etc…

- The report recommended a 10% pay increase.
- It is dangerous to exceed the recommended dose.
- a recommended price of $50
- He recommended reading the book before seeing the movie.
- I recommend using the latest version of the browser.
- My doctor recommended against surgery.
- Medical guidelines recommend against using this drug to treat migraines.
- I recommend that he see a lawyer.
- I recommend that he should see a lawyer.
- It is strongly recommended that the machines should be checked every year.
- We'd recommend you to book your flight early.
- Can you recommend how much we should charge?
- I recommend that you buy a more powerful computer.
- We strongly recommend you insure your luggage when you travel.
- We recommend booking early, as this is a popular event.

2. Mang nghĩa "giới thiệu / tiến cử ai/cái gì vì có chất lượng & phẩm chất tốt"
=to say that someone or something is good and worth using, having, or experiencing
