I. Cách dùng danh từ "ware"
1. Mang nghĩa "món hàng (đưa ra bán)"
=goods that someone is selling, especially at a market or on the street
IELTS TUTOR lưu ý:
- Ware nếu là danh từ thường ở số nhiều (wares)
IELTS TUTOR xét ví dụ:
- a local painter selling his wares to tourists
- to advertise , display , sell , peddle one's wares (IELTS TUTOR giải thích: quảng cáo, trưng bày, bán, rao hàng (của mình)
2. Mang nghĩa "đồ gốm, đồ sứ thuộc kiểu riêng hoặc chế tạo cho một mục đích riêng"
=pottery (= objects made out of clay) of a particular type or make
IELTS TUTOR xét ví dụ:
- Meissen ware
- earthenware (IELTS TUTOR giải thích: đồ đất nung)
- ovenware (IELTS TUTOR giải thích: đồ sứ)
II. Cách dùng tiếp vị ngữ "-ware"
Mang nghĩa "hàng hoá chế tạo hàng loạt (theo một kiểu nào đó)"
=used, often in shops, to refer to objects of the same material or type, especially things used in cooking and serving food

- kitchenware glassware

- hardware (IELTS TUTOR giải thích: đồ ngũ kim)
