That is (to say): nói đúng hơn là
1. Dùng để bổ sung thêm những gì mình đang nói
=or more exactly/used when explaining more clearly what you have just said

- Kiểu như đã đưa ra thông tin gì trước đó rồi, tuy nhiên muốn bổ sung thông tin đúng hơn, cho đầy đủ hơn, đúng với những gì mình nghĩ hơn
- Có thể dùng That is hoặc That is to say đều được

2. Dùng để sửa lại cho điều mà mình nói phía trước
=used when you are going to correct something that you have just said
