1. Dùng như hạn định từ (determiner)
Mang nghĩa"nhỏ, bé, trẻ, nhỏ tuổi, không quan trọng"
=small in size or amount/not very important or serious

- There’s little time left.
- Little progress has been made.
- I had a little problem with my car, but it's been fixed now.
- It's often the little things that count the most.
- Can I have a little word (= a short discussion about something not very important) with you?
- When you were little your hair was really curly.

2. Dùng như danh từ, đại từ (noun, pronoun)

=a small amount

3. Dùng như trạng từ (adv)
Mang nghĩa"không nhiều lắm"
=Little means not very often or to only a small extent/not much
