1. Mang nghĩa"trễ"
=if you are late, you arrive somewhere after the correct or usual time

2. Mang nghĩa"vào cuối ngày hoặc đêm, hoặc một thời gian (giai đoạn) nào đó (cuối đời...)"
=near the end of a period of time such as a day, month, or season the late 18th century/near the end of an evening or night/done near the end of someone’s life or career

3. Mang nghĩa"đã chết, quá cố"
=used for talking about someone who has died, especially recently

4. Mang nghĩa"gần đây, mới đây"(nhất là trong dạng so sánh cao nhất)
=happening at a time just before the present

1. Mang nghĩa"muộn, trễ, chậm"
=after the correct or usual time

2. Mang nghĩa"vào cuối một thời kỳ"
=near the end of a period of time such as a day, month, season, or someone’s life or career/near the end of an evening or night

- Stop by late this afternoon.
- We plan to visit late in July.
- He didn’t receive the recognition he deserved until late in life.
