II. Cách dùng
1. Mang nghĩa"dạy, đào tạo"
=to teach someone a subject or skill
IELTS TUTOR lưu ý:
- instruct someone in something
IELTS TUTOR xét ví dụ:
- All children are instructed in the use of the library.
- Someone who instructs people in a subject or skill teaches it to them.
- He instructed family members in nursing techniques.
- We have to instruct all children in the use of the library. (IELTS TUTOR giải thích: Chúng tôi phải hướng dẫn tất cả bọn trẻ trong việc sử dụng thư viện)
- Are there any personal trainers to instruct me while I am exercising? (IELTS TUTOR giải thích: Trong khi tập luyện, có huấn luyện viên riêng nào hướng dẫn cho tôi không?)
2. Mang nghĩa"chỉ dẫn, chỉ thị cho"
=to tell someone to do something, especially officially or as their employer instruct someone to do something:

- I want you to instruct them that they've got three months to get the details sorted out.
