II. Cách dùng danh từ "comfort"
1. Mang nghĩa "thoải mái, nhàn hạ, thảnh thơi, sự an nhàn; sự sung túc"

- Với nghĩa này, comfort là danh từ không đếm được
1.1. Nghĩa đen
(sự dễ chịu, thoải mái) a physically relaxed state, without any pain or other unpleasant feelings

- There is plenty of room to lie down and sleep in comfort.

1.2. Nghĩa bóng
(hưởng cuộc sống an nhàn) a pleasant way of life in which you have everything you need

2. Mang nghĩa "sự an ủi; người an ủi; nguồn an ủi"
2.1. Mang nghĩa "sự an ủi"
=a feeling of being less sad or worried about something than you were previously
