=only one

2. Mang nghĩa"độc thân (không vợ hoặc không chồng)"
=not married, or not in a romantic relationship/Someone who is single is not married. You can also use single to describe someone who does not have a girlfriend or boyfriend.

- Is it difficult being a single mother?
- I now have to face the rest of my life as a single person.

=designed for one person, or used by one person
