1. "Public vs Private medical service"

Some people think that good health is very important to every person, so medical service should not be run by profit-making companies.

Do the advantages of private health care outweigh the disadvantages?

IELTS TUTOR lưu ý các ý & từ vựng sau có thể được dùng:

  • Reduce the burden on the public system: Giảm thiểu gánh nặng vào hệ thống công

  • Private healthcare insurance: Bảo hiểm sức khỏe tư nhân
  • private healthcare insurance is very costly and many people simply cannot afford it

  • those who choose to pay for private healthcare services will experience many benefits, such as the quality and speed of treatments, short waiting times for appointments and operations, and more private and comfortable facilities.

  • These days many people feel that good health and well-being is essential to all people, and therefore healthcare services should not be run by privately owned companies, whose main objective is to make profit.
  • it is thought by a number of people that this provision should not be operated by private sector
  • there are certain disadvantages that privately-owned hospitals bring about regarding high treatment costs, and potential ethical and legal corruption
  • Overcrowded and underfunded: Quá đông và không được đầu tư đầy đủ

    • IELTS TUTOR xét ví dụ: public hospitals in most countries are usually overcrowded and underfunded which can put a lot of pressure on doctors, nursing staff and patients to recover quickly so that more people can be treated.

  • Private healthcare services: Dịch vụ chăm sóc sức khỏe tư nhân
    • IELTS TUTOR xét ví dụ: When people choose private healthcare services it can help to reduce the burden on the public system, and as a result can also help to reduce the amount of money required by the government for funding.

  • since health care institutions owned privately have little dependence on the national budget, their incomes come mostly from patients’ charges. This would increase the costs of medical treatment, and make health care less accessible for low-wage people or even middle class.
  • private health care is somewhat profit-oriented, so doctors may treat their patients unethically and even illegally to earn more money. Some of the common ways are requiring more medical tests than necessary, or prescribing expensive medicines instead of cheaper and quality substitutes.
  • as long as governments do their best to provide a good standard of healthcare facilities and services for the general public, then private healthcare services can also exist and provide many advantages that will outweigh the disadvantages.
  • since private medical establishments are not limited by national budget, there is more access to advanced treatment and modern technology.
  • Afford the best and quickest treatment available: Chi trả việc chữa bệnh tốt và nhanh nhất
    • IELTS TUTOR xét ví dụ: private healthcare services create inequality between citizens of a nation as only the wealthy can afford the best and quickest treatment available.

  • Patients also have greater choices in medical services.
  • doctors and other medical staff would be in more favourable working conditions with less pressure of too many patients and higher salaries as well as welfares.
  • A waste of money: Phí tiền
    • IELTS TUTOR xét ví dụ: Private healthcare insurance is usually paid on a monthly basis, whether you use the system or not, and therefore many people pay thousands of dollars each year for private healthcare but never need to use the facilities or services. Many people consider this to be a waste of money.

  • the health care services have the difficulty of rising demand but limited willingness to increase taxes to pay for it. The private sector could fill this gap by operating independently from the national budget, reducing public spending on health care and earning more taxes for governments from profit-making medical firms.

1. "Public vs Private company"

In today’s world, private companies rather than the government pay for and conduct most scientific research. Do you think the advantages outweigh the disadvantages?

IELTS TUTOR lưu ý các ý & từ vựng sau có thể được dùng:

  • Privately owned corporations are indeed at the heart of today’s scientific innovation and scientific endeavors.
  • Professionals with an innate passion do not let the limited hours that comprise a work day dictate when they can work on their craft and are much less likely to give up on their goals.
  • Research suggests that entrepreneurs and social influencers often work 70 to 80 hours per week. This allows them plenty of time to experiment and test new ideas.
  • although some government agencies such as NASA do engage in scientific research, it becomes crystal clear that the private sector is better equipped for working in this aspect. Private companies can devote more time, money, and manpower to a goal and generally have to deal with less “red tape”
  •  Rich private companies do not have to deal with such limited budgets like the government does. As a result, they can spend more time and money on researching and recruiting the most appropriate talents.
