II. Cách dùng
1. Mang nghĩa "nhớ lại"
=to remember something
IELTS TUTOR lưu ý:
- recall với nghĩa này vừa là ngoại động từ, vừa là nội động từ
- recall (that)
- recall who/where/why
- recall doing something

- Twenty years later he could still clearly recall the event.
- I seem to recall that you said you would do that yesterday.
- Stephen frowned, trying to recall what had happened.
- I don’t recall seeing the document.
- The old man recalled the city as it had been before the war.
- "As I recall," he said with some irritation, "you still owe me €150."
2. Mang nghĩa "cái gì gợi nhớ lại"
=to make you feel or experience something that you have felt or experienced in the past

3. Mang nghĩa "triệu hồi"
=to order someone to return to their country or the place where they work, especially someone who works for their government

4. Mang nghĩa "thu hồi"
=if a company recalls a product, it asks people who bought it to return it because there is something wrong with it
