II. Cách dùng
1. Mang nghĩa "giải quyết, phân xử"
=If a person or group of people decides something, they choose what something should be like or how a particular problem should be solved.

- This is an issue that should be decided by local and metropolitan government.
- It could take months before this case is decided.
- The matter will be decided by a government tribunal.
- The court decided against Mrs McLaughlin.
- If the committee decides in his favour, he will be a very rich man.
2. Mang nghĩa "quyết định, chọn lựa giữa các lựa chọn rồi đi đến quyết định"
=to choose something, especially after thinking carefully about several possibilities

3. Mang nghĩa "mang tính chất quyết định"
=If an event or fact decides something, it makes it certain that a particular choice will be made or that there will be a particular result.

- The results will decide if he will win a place at a good university.
- Luck is certainly one deciding factor.
4. Mang nghĩa "dẫn ai đến quyết định làm việc gì"
=to influence someone so that they make a particular choice
